TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – October 4, 2021 – Black News Channel (BNC), the nation’s fastest growing news network, is working in partnership with RCA Inspiration to feature multiple performances from several award-winning artists on the Start Your Day with Sharon and Mike morning show, which airs weekdays on BNC from 6-10 AM ET. Starting today through Thursday within the show’s nine o’clock hour, these special performances from chart-topping gospel artists will provide a captivating close to the network’s inaugural Summer Concert Series Finale.
Gospel legend Kirk Franklin joins top industry songwriters and musicians like Jonathan McReynolds, Koryn Hawthorne, Le’Andria Johnson and DOE for a celebration of faith and family at the famed National Museum of African American Music in the heart of Nashville.

Start Your Day will celebrate gospel’s rich history with these must-see performances and exclusive interviews with each artist, conducted by BNC Correspondent Nerissa Knight. Sharon and Mike kick off the week-long event with performances from Jonathan McReynolds and DOE on Monday, while Kirk Franklin closes the Summer Concert Series Finale with a melody of classic and current hits on Thursday.
