Awakening Foundation Sells Out Two Nights at Red Rocks

Awakening Foundation, powered by Awakening Events, is thrilled to announce that K-LOVE Presents Live At Red Rocks, held last week at the legendary Denver-based amphitheater, was completely sold out in advance and attracted 17,488 people in a two-night capacity. With performances on August 4 and 5, Live At Red Rocks featured the musical talents of artists such as TobyMac, Tauren Wells, Danny Gokey, Matthew West, Jordan Feliz, Mac Powell, Cory Asbury, Katy Nichole, and Riley Clemmons.
Additionally, Awakening Foundation, along with its partners K-LOVE Radio, ChildFund, and Altura HealthShare, continues to build on its history of giving back. $20,000 was donated locally through the Salvation Army to address food insecurity in Colorado.
“It was a privilege and honor for K-LOVE to join Awakening Foundation for these amazing nights at Red Rocks,” K-LOVE and Air1’s Chief Partnership Officer David Pierce shares. “We think it’s the best outdoor concert experience and it never disappoints!”
Along with the recent success of their back-to-back Red Rocks shows, it continues to be a whirlwind first half of the year for Awakening Foundation. They have helmed numerous additional sold-out shows for more than 400,000 fans and this past spring, they promoted seven tours as well as special event concerts such as Good Friday Nashville, Chris Tomlin at Red Rocks for two nights, Casting Crowns in Little Rock, and TobyMac in Destin. Its most successful spring run, Tim Hawkins Live In Concert, appeared in 24 markets, selling out every night.
The rest of their spring season was also a huge success. 179 total shows were performed with 106 of them selling at 90% capacity or more and 87 officially sold out. The spring run included TobyMac Hits Deep, Zach Williams, Tim Hawkins, Chonda Pierce, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Newsboys.
Now, Awakening Foundation is gearing up for this fall with numerous tours hitting the road such as Tim Hawkins Live In Concert, Zach Williams’ Fall ’22 Tour featuring Ben Fuller, Chonda Pierce Live In Concert, TobyMac: The Theatre Tour with special guest Terrian, Casting Crowns’ The Healer Tour with CAIN and Anne Wilson, the Mac Powell & Friends Tour, and Michael W. Smith’s The WayMaker Tour featuring Jon Reddick. Three Christmas tours are also slated for the holiday season – Zach Williams’ I Don’t Want Christmas To End Tour, K-LOVE Christmas East with Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Brandon Heath, Tasha Layton, and Jon Reddick, as well as K-LOVE Christmas West with Crowder, Matt Maher, Jordan St. Cyr, and Katy Nichole.
