Maximum Artist Group, LLC, the Nashville-based artist management and content development firm, announces the addition of Madalyn (Maddy) Mathwig to the newly created position of Manager of Promoter Relations. Mathwig will take the role of primary conduit between the company’s management clients, event promoters, and sponsors. The announcement was made by Mitchell Solarek, founder and president of the firm.
“With the growth in our firm, in general, and in touring, specifically, I’ve been contemplating adding this position for a while,” states Solarek. “When I started inquiring about potential individuals for this role, Maddy was on everyone’s list. I am excited for both our clients and our entire team to have her on board.”
Mathwig comes to Maximum Artist Group from the 24-year old Oshkosh, WI-based Life Promotions, producers of the highly successful Lifest festivals in Oshkosh and Bon Aqua, TN. The festivals see a combined attendance of over 90,000 people annually. At Lifest, Mathwig oversaw Artist Relations (which included booking and contracting talent, totaling over 100 artists and speakers across both festivals), on-site coordination of artist activities, and social media strategy. She also acted as road manager for the company’s non-festival one-off events.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Communications degree with an emphasis in Public Relations, Mathwig has quickly developed an impeccable reputation among booking agencies, management firms, and artists for her attention to detail, broadly creative thinking, get-it-done attitude, work ethic, and care and respective for artists.
