Syntax Creative Brings The Legendary Goodman Catalog To Digital

Syntax Creative is excited to announce that the music of Vestal and The Happy Goodmans is coming to all major digital service providers for the first time ever. While some titles are immediately available, other notable songs will be released as singles throughout the year. To kick off the series, “The Blood” with CeCe Winans is now available, followed by “Satisfied” with Dolly Parton on April 28, 2023, and “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” with Wynonna Judd on May 12, 2023.
“It’s an honor to work with such a notable catalog,” said Syntax Creative CEO Timothy Trudeau. “Besides, there is nothing more exciting than breathing life into masters that have never seen digital daylight.”
The late Vestal Goodman, called the Queen of Gospel by The New York Times and a National Treasure by Bill Gaither, along with her husband Howard “Happy” Goodman both had a career that lasted well over five decades.
Fans of the Goodmans can now enjoy classic hits such as “God Walks The Dark Hills”, “Born to Serve the Lord”, and “I Wouldn’t Take Nothing for My Journey Now” on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more.
“We are thrilled to share my parents’ legacy with a new generation of listeners,” said Rick Goodman, son of Howard and Vestal and President of Goodman Music. “Their music has touched so many lives over the years, and we know that it will continue to inspire and uplift people for generations to come.”
“It’s exciting to get to be a part of such a storied career,” said Syntax Creative Marketing Coordinator Erin Moorman. “Vestal Goodman and her family influenced the Gospel community like no other, and I’m proud to get to bring it back to life in this digital era.”
The Goodman’s music continues to be a staple in churches and homes across the country and the world, and the availability of their music on digital platforms will make it easier for fans to access and share the timeless message of faith, hope, and love.
