RAII:Whit and I had just finished reading our daily devotional & praying over our day. Then I saw a message on my phone saying that there was a video created by our friends and family but that we must watch it together.
Whit:Then I saw an email from my mom with a link attached saying this was her gift to us with the assistance of Tanaïs & how she was so appreciative of the fact that Tanaïs had been working on getting this together for months. I cried just reading that because I know how busy Tanaïs’ life is. Not to mention how tedious & challenging it is to communicate with people all over the world, and bring them together with a common goal that is a SURPRISE! Lmbo!
As I was lying in the bed next to my husband, I relayed the message to him. We both didn’t feel like moving much so we both rolled over onto our stomachs lol…scooted our heads to the edge of the bed and set the computer up on the floor. Lol!
RAII:“No Worries (Step Clap)” started playing & we began seeing the faces of some very special people in our lives, holding up signs that read “Happy 5th Year Anniversary RAII & Whitney!!!”
Whit:I immediately began to cry!!!! I was wiping my eyes so that I could see! I was filled with so much gratitude. I was crying SOOO much that I couldn’t really talk. I was pointing to the screen like, “Awe! There’s this person & look at that person! I just kept thinking, they didn’t have to do this BUT they did.
RAII:To know that people took time out of their life to wish us well meant so much to us. We are blessed with people in our lives that truly love us for who we really are and it was such a pleasant and welcomed surprise to see all of the beautiful smiles of the people that we know and love. The support is very encouraging to us and we are truly grateful to everyone that took time out to help us celebrate our 5th year Anniversary.
Whit:We’re constantly getting asked to videotape ourselves singing a personalized birthday song, words of appreciation, happy Anniversary,…you name it. So it was really good to see that people were willing to take the time to hold up a sign that wished us a happy 5th year Anniversary!!!!
